At Chickadee Seed & Feed, we’re passionate about helping you bring the joy of backyard poultry-raising to your family. Each year from the end of February through June, we ship thousands of baby chicks from hatcheries across the U.S., ensuring you get the best start.

I will list more arrivals as we confirm orders.  There is no reserving birds. 

First come first serve.

Chickadee pays to have chicks vent-sexed at the hatchery, but there is a 7% chance a roo may slip through. 

We do not take birds back. 

Chickadee also pays for any vaccinations the various hatcheries offer. 

Once the chicks are deemed viable and healthy, we will post the pick-up day!

Please have your brooder set up, heat on, and water and chick starter available immediately!
